Just how stupid are we? This is a rhetorical question of course, but a practical question as well given the current circumstances. The problem with the social ‘sciences’ is that you usually can’t perform experiments. Economics suffers from this problem. But, every once in a while you get people who run the experiment for you even if they don’t know it.
